Our guide took us to the Yun Tai Garden area in Guangzhou one (rainy) day. Quite nice! We ended up killing some time in a greenhouse waiting for a downpour to slow down.
The major cities went overboard with fancy lights on the buildings, bridges, etc. And they were in constant motion. Some buildings had video displays! These are on the Pearl River in Guangzhou.
We went to the Guangzhou city zoo one day. The zoo had a small amusement area with a dozen rides. And a "animal show" where some animals did some tricks.
We spent most of our time in Guangzhou, since this is the capital of the province Ruby lived in and the location of the US Consulate that handles visas for adopted children. This album has some photos that don't fit any other categories.
